Baturo Entertainment is a DJ, lighting, production, and entertainment company that serves the tri-state area with reliable white glove service for your upcoming event. It’s no secret that music and entertainment are the essence of what makes a party a success. Our booking process is easy! When you contact us about the details of your event, we will confirm availability and send you a quote. If you would like to further proceed, we will send out a formal invoice with all the services agreed upon for your review. Once we receive a deposit, we will officially reserve the date for you. You can call us for information at any point and we will also consult with you about the structure of the event, music, schedule and whatever else that needs to be addressed.

For 15 years, DJ Baturo has been rocking out dance floors with various types of crowds and made a mark in the event industry as a true professional Jewish DJ in NYC. With a passion for mixing music, DJ Baturo learned to master a large spectrum of genres from everything popular, to international music, and more. DJ Baturo is no stranger to the microphone, adopting the role of an MC, he can ensure the guests will be informed of the event’s formalities. To add to the excitement, we have professional instrument players who can play alongside to create the ultimate musical experience. 

Great music needs to be reinforced with excellent-quality sound to get the best responses from the guests. Our industry-leading sound system made in Italy is noticeably greater than the average sound system. With the strong knowledge from our DJ, sound engineers, and technicians, we will know exactly how to deliver an exceptional listening experience for your guests. 

Mood Lighting and Dancefloor Lighting

There are many ways to turn a venue into a space with good energy and ambiance. When it comes to lighting, the options are limitless! One popular way is to illuminate the room using “Uplighting”. We set up wireless LED lights on the floor directing up the walls to illuminate the whole room in any themed color. For extra enhancement, we mount “Pin Spot Lighting” which points a white light on the table’s flower or balloon centerpieces to make it pop out of the background. Uplighting and pin spot lighting are a great combination to set the right tone from the start. We can also project anything on the walls like logos, shapes, names, photos, videos, and even energetic visuals that sync with the music.

We have dancefloor lighting that can satisfy virtually all kinds of budgets. Our top preferred dancefloor lighting falls under “High-End Lighting” (aka moving heads or intelligent lighting). We have a dedicated lighting technician to map the lights to the room and manually control them to dance in sync with the music to create an immersive light show! These lights give off a rich look and deliver eye-catching visuals, bright colors, 360-degree movements, and project shapes on the walls and floors to create an ultimate light show experience. For budget-friendly events, we have simple dancefloor lighting options that are great for filling the room with some color and action just to “get the job done”.

For a higher visual experience, we offer special FX, video production, stages and more. 

A photobooth at your event is an excellent way to entertain your guests! We have an elegant LED photobooth with a professional DSLR camera to shoot HD photos. The photos can be printed out instantly on a 4×6 or a 2×6 printout. The guests also have an option to receive a digital copy via email. We can also professionally custom-design the frame around the photo so that they will follow the same theme of your event. It’s a perfect souvenir that guests will keep and remember forever. After the event, we will send you all of the photos taken at the booth.

Every event is unique and there are some variables that are taken into consideration. The main factors that determine the pricing are the date, location, type of event, duration, how many guests, and which services you would like.

When you give us a call, we will discuss your event and determine which services best suit your needs.

We have over 100,000 songs and the music library constantly gets updated, filtered and organized. The genres that DJ Baturo alone mainly specializes in are: Jewish/Israeli Music, Top 40’s & Remixes, Electronic Dance Music, Pop, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s, and a large variety of international music such as Russian, Israeli, Bucharian, Persian, Arabic, Kavkazi, Moroccan, Chassidic, and Spanish / Latin music. Upon request, DJ Baturo is flexible with performing other genres as well. 

If you want the other genres to be the main theme for the event, and you would still like us to be a part of it, that’s no problem.
We have many DJ’s that specialize in niche styles of music. We can provide you a well-qualifying DJ and handle the planning, production, and entertainment. 

Event details and music requests are best given as early as possible.
Music requests can be submitted a minimum of 3 days before the event. If there are any changes to the event details at the moment, don’t worry, we can adjust accordingly.

In regard to taking music requests from guests, yes, we can accept song requests if we have them in our library and if we feel it will work with the energy of the room. If either reason occurs we will interact with the guests politely and respectfully decline the request. 

Yes, the DJ can make all the necessary announcements as needed.
However, depending on your culture, having a separate MC will take the entertainment to the next level. The MC will interact hands-on with the crowd and act as extra insurance that the event will be organized. At the same time, the DJ will put in his focus on music selection, mixing, crowd reading, and everything else necessary. Some cultures require an MC at weddings and some cultures don’t.

For Bar Mitzvahs, Bat Mitzvahs, and kids’ parties, having an MC or party motivator is highly recommended to keep the kids entertained throughout the event.

Our top priority is to deliver as promised or beyond. In extremely rare circumstances,  if the DJ can’t make it to your event, we maintain strong relationships with many professional DJs who can take over. We will update the new DJ on what to do for your event so that you don’t have to stress out about it. 

To ensure availability, it’s ideal to book us as early as possible.
After we discuss the event and services, you will receive everything we agreed on in a formal invoice with the information and pricing. As soon as you give us a deposit, we will officially book and secure the date.
